This next frame shows us clearly that we’re going to be seeing parts of Brazil! Take a look at the iconic Jesus statue on the mountaintop. We also get a nice close-up of Mohawk Dude, who looks a lot like actor Colin Ferrall. Something tells me that the previous frames of Mohawk dude jumping on rooftops is from the Brazil level.
We’re next shown a scene of assault choppers packed with soldiers and firepower heading towards some kind of fortress (could it be a prison?) located on an icy and snowy coastal cliff. The question is, are these guys going on a rescue mission, or an attack mission? The fortress already looks to be smoking!
In the next frame, we see what looks like the same level, but now we are shown who may be a main character in the game, sitting in a chopper watching the action below at the fortress. Meanwhile, a fighter jet with some heavy payload flies by.
The following few frames shows a dude taking down another guy whilst disarming him. At the same time, a fighter jet behind him blows up, probably killing the guys in the background. The abundance of snow levels is definitely exciting.
In this frame, we’re not shown a whole lot, except that these dudes look caught off guard by that huge explosion nearby.
Next, we’re treated to a brief glimpse into a vehicle level – on snowmobiles! What’s more is that the dudes are riding tandom, which means one person drives, and the other shoots, while it’s snowing. This might be an indication of what co-op could look like.
In this last shot, we are shown a bomb/shell camera’s view, targetting and striking a dude. It’s difficult to make out where all this action is taking place, but it looks like a supermarket or fast food restaurant. There are multiple tangos down there, and from the looks of it, you have multiple angles to shoot from – note this view is from #3 Camera.
So there you have it! It looks like Modern Warfare 2 is set to blow everyone away with yet another epic military masterpiece. We’ll be looking forward to the new trailer premiering on May 24th!
