Hey all, time to take a break from the gaming for our first report from PaleyFest 09! Tonight’s event featured the CW show, “90210,” and not only did members of the cast make special appearances, the event was moderated by none other than writer/director Diablo Cody!
Attendees were treated to a screening from an upcoming episode, which guest stars Tori Spelling, who reprises her role as Donna. After the screening, Diablo Cody introduced Ryan Eggold (“Ryan”), Rob Estes (“Harry”), Matt Lanter (“Liam”), Shenae Grimes (“Annie”), Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair (executive producer), Jessica Stroup (“Silver”) to discuss their experiences on 90210 and to take questions from the fans in attendance.
The cast and Cody (who is a big fan of the show, and makes a cameo appearance in an uncoming episode) all shared insights about the show, and what it is like working on a program that brings together fans of the old 90210 show, as well as new audiences. Everyone seemed very comfortable sharing their personal experiences, and they all seemed down to earth in this intimate venue. At the end of the event, each of the stars took time to meet and greet attendees, something the fans absolutely appreciated.
